Someone suggested that I post this in the main forum instead of just in the medications subform, so I'm just posting it here

This resource allows you to search through other users' ratings for medications. It is much like drugs.com and rxlist.com where people can rate meds and leave detailed reviews, but this one is PC's very own! (Excuse the weird screenshots. I'm using Safari on a MacBook Pro, and I guess some images don't render properly.)

Click the image below to make it bigger. (Or if you're on a mobile device, tap the image.)
Rating medications on PC

To get to that page, look at the upper right corner of any page on the forum. You should see a dropdown menu called "Quick Links," like so:

Just thought some people might find this useful. I have never heard of this until I found it by chance the other day.

Hi bluebicyle. I have tried to go to that section a number of times and for some reason it never seems to work out for me. I can't rate anything there and can't even obtain adequate info on any of the meds. Obviously it's there, though.

If I recall correctly, one needs to login separately there. Right? When I have tried, it never acknowledges my password. I only have one password for this site. I've just never bothered to ask what I am doing wrong.

I can't get it to work either. Nor can I do the quizzes anymore. Both request that I log in again and both denied my password. Like Birddancer I have only one name and one password

Thanks, blue, for the reminder! I saw the med review months ago and promptly forgot to go back to it. I don't recall having login issues, but it sounds like there's definitely a problem for too many members. For those who can't login, a mod should be notified. I think it's worth it to check out the reviews.

Thanks Blue for the link that I read while I was logged in. I stayed logged in and then opened another Tab. I had to Log In again, and I successfully did so with my one and only username and password for PsychCentral. I then clicked "Quick Links," then "Rate and Review," as shown in one of your images. Then on next window, I clicked "Medications" and it showed medications just as in your second image. When I came back to my open Tab where I had been logged in to read your message and tried to Reply to this thread, it said I was not logged in (though I had been) and I had to log in again. Again, I was able to do so with my only username and password for PsychCentral.

I have tried this several times, and I had to log in again with my only username and password for PsychCentral more than once, but it worked. I just had to check to see if I was logged in on the Tab where I was, and if not, then log in again.

Best Wishes to All!

You're welcome guys!

It's odd that I don't have problems with it. Huh. Maybe I can bring this up to Doc John to see if he has any ideas why so many people can't access it. I know I'm able to view it and post things, so that's strange.

EDIT: I asked Doc John and he pointed me to a page on the main Psych Central site that people here can use: Psychiatric Medications Drug Reference
