Luckily I will resume my water aerobics routine again tomorrow. I had been walking my dog a mile every day with a bad knee.
I found out something big from my brother from the past and went zooming below center.
I see so many folks talking about self care for covid isolation, but not mentioning exercise. It's not the whole answer if you need to adjust meds, have projects, break bad patterns, have personal contacts, BUT I THINK EXERCISE IS THE EASIEST THING TO TRY FIRST AND STICK TO. Exercise is particularly good for depression and anxiety. You can look at pictures of flowers until doomsday, I have found, and it just isnt enough.
I skipped it today, thinking tomorrow was soon enough, but now I feel awful. For me, there's just no substitute. And it gets you out and about. Or use bands. Sex would be good LOL

Its the weather that is keeping me from my walks/bike rides. Today it is 60 and raining. It feels colder than that. But on nice days, I get out and walk or ride. Exercise really does get those endorfins going. Yes- sex would be nice. Doctor, "What do you do for exercise three times a week?" Patient, "Sex!" But actually I think they'd frown on that- you know "Social distancing". Even so, I wonder if there will be a baby boom in February and March!

The most fabulous thing I discovered this year is that through the Silver Sneakers program SENIORS can often get FREE gym memberships including ALL services through their insurance programs. There are free programs online of various kinds, even for people who are at home in bad weather.
Here in Phoenix, the sun is almost always shining. That is why approximately 98,000 people move here each year! When the weather is really toasty heat here in the late summer, my swimsuit dries by the time I drive home.
