Q: Who do you think was/is the nicest person in your life? Friend? Parent? Person from a certain place? Other?

There were a couple of twins who were my first best friends, I’d hate to pick one over the other.

How would you feel if someone showed up 15 minutes late for a date or other event?

if they gave a good reason, maybe I'd understand. if they didn't, I'd be irritated and maybe even send them back where they came from.

what time do you aim to go to bed
Thanks for this!

Oh, my! My absolute favorite juice (and I totally love it) is real pink grapefruit juice. The sad thing is that I'm not supposed to drink it or even eat a grapefruit, itself. Grapefruit juice (unlike most other juices) interacts with some medications I'm on. I've got to confess that on rare occasions I do eat up to 1/4 of one. I've even drank a big sip when my husband has had it. I've read that blood oranges, and one or two other citrus fruit interact similarly. If they only reduced the effectiveness of the medications, I'd probably cheat more often, but they can increase blood levels.

Q: What side effect(s) from medications do you currently put up with?

No...if you could have a miniature version of a wild animal as a pet, say cat size....which would you choose?

No, do you take supplements to help with your bipolar?

No, not specifically for my bipolar disorder. However, I do take a daily multivitamin and occasional iron supplement (during my period) to prevent deficiencies that could reduce my energy levels, or just generally make me feel physically unwell. I did try OTC fish oil a long while back, and took the maximum of the highest potency OTC stuff. It did very little, so I quit it. Instead, I enjoy eating lots of fish (salmon and tuna). That's much more pleasant.

Q: How good is your diet (excluding any supplements)?
Thanks for this!

Ha ha! I saw that and then deleted my post Then you answered my question. This is happening to a lot of us, lately. I'll ask my new question after answering your newest one.

Snakes are much scarier, in my book. I'm not that afraid of spiders at all. Perhaps I would dislike holding a wild tarantula, but I actually have held a pet one. There are some spiders in my area that bite, but almost none are dangerous. They're more annoying than scary. I don't want to play with copperheads, rattlesnakes, cobras, or boa constrictors, for sure. Since it's sometimes not quick to know what the snake is, I can easily get frightened even by a garter snake or garden snake, both of which are harmless to humans. When my father was a teenager, he got bitten by a copperhead. He was in the hospital for a while.

Hit and miss. Super good most of the time with intermittent really badness. Sweets, ice cream, butter.

Do you like really ripe bananas or, like, more green ones?

I'm pretty partial to the 13th Amendment, personally. I've never really read much since High School which is a shame, now that I think on it.

If you could have any of the superheroes powers, which would you like to have, and why?

Okra. Not keen on the flavor or texture. I will eat it, though, if it's in a dish that otherwise tastes good, like a good gumbo.

Q: Do you have something big you are looking forward to? What is it?

I used to when I was younger. Then I got out of shape, and haven't done any backpacking in the last 20 or so years.

Do you believe that there are truly malicious and evil people in the world?

Oh my gosh, I was just workiing on that very question for this book I wrote and am editing. Me, personallY? No. I don't. I think that, for example, psychopaths who are violent, say, a serial killer, actually have neuroanatomically defective and markedly abnormal brains. Basically, in my view of it, these people almost certainly have some type of massive congenital brain disorder(s) that causes them to be unable to take the perspective of others, ie, to experience what is commonly termed empathy. What they do is obviously evil but they, themselves, most likely just have defective brains. My take, anyhoo.

Favorite herb of all time?

I'm partial to cilantro because it smells so fresh, but I'm a purest and love how basil takes me home to so many dishes right away. Basil it is, I must say! Good question!

Favorite movie of all time?
