I know this technically not a bipolar thing but please keep this here.

I am waiting in the ER waiting room with COVID and pneumonia. I am worried that I won’t get my clozapine while I am here. I don’t feel as sick as they say my symptoms show. My doctor said I am at the crossroads where people either get better or get a lot sicker. I am hoping I am only here for one night. Apparently my oxygen was low and respiration was up and low grade fever. No outside X-ray place would take me because of the COVID. So the hospital it is. Wish me luck.

Prayers for you Crook32. Can your family bring your clozapine bottle to the hospital?

Many Prayers that you recover quickly. I agree with Rainbow, Ask your Doctor if you can have the family bring the medication to the hospital

Hey there, Crook, You might not be able to see this thread for a while. I'm always really worried when I'm in the hospital that they won't remember my meds, but they always do (amazingly!). Hospitals, as far as I know, don't allow patients to bring meds in from outside.

Anyway, I'm thinking about you & sending healing vibes. I hope you're on the upside.

Please let us know how you are whenever you can

Thinking about you and saying a prayer for you! I an no expert but have the impression that the docs are figuring out ways to help the patients with COVID a little better. You are in the right place!

Thanks everyone. I am home and mostly on bed rest except a few short walks. I get out of breath easily and whistle when I breath. I almost passed out just getting a shower and again getting dressed. I am beat.

I'm so glad you've improved enough to be at home. Still, take good care of yourself...the exhaustion sounds miserable. And thank you for checking in.
