It's very complex and really quite fascinating when you think about it. All of the puzzle pieces have to be there, but they also have to come together in a very particular fashion in exactly the right time. It's like winning the lottery, but our prize sucks.

Good point about Epigenetics @bpcyclist ! That certainly is a factor. Maybe a bigger factor that we think. Maybe its related to the kindling effect?
