For quite some time now without me
Realizing I’m doing it... My bottom lip will open and shut. I don’t do it consciously. sometimes I notice I’m doing and sometimes I’m asked why im doing it and I don’t realize I was. My last ip my nurse told my dr about it and they made sure I was getting cogentin Is this permanent?

How frequent is this and when did it start and what antipsychotics and doses and for how long are you on?

I know for me haldol caused a jaw spasm that caused me to bite my tongue frequently. I could not take cogentin because it blurs my vision. I have been off of the haldol since January, except for a brief period in May when I was trying to regain control. It has certainly lessened, but it is not gone. I fear it may be permanent too. At least it is not noticeable. Just painful when I bite my tongue!

Antidepressants markedly improve my vision in both the good and the bad eye. Vision and bipolar slash schizophrenia slash psychosis slash trauma are all interconnected. Like, so freaking cool.
