@Polibeth, I'm glad your ECT treatment went well. I know I always have just a squick of anxiety surrounding it. But it helps so much.

@yellow_fleurs, thank you for your enthusiasm regarding my little ECT composition. It's meant for prospective patients. I'm going to create a thread for it in the "Bipolar Treatments" sub-forum but to make it easier here it is. It's about a page and a half, single-spaced.

apart from really bad fibro pain, (like super bad) and the fact that the weather here is super cold (I think it's ice age 4 outside), I'm just sat here listening to christmas music with my lights on

don't feel good, don't feel bad

saturday's here, I'm not doing anything productive

what's new

I think it would be so helpful for people if you'd request that a mod allows your composition to be pinned to the treatments page.

Good idea. To whom would I make that request?

I believe Fooze is the mod for this board. But the only way I know of to contact a mod is to click on the "report post" icon, which is the little red triangle icon with a black line inside of it. The icon is below the user name.

I would click on that icon and type out your request in the box that appears. (I've used it to ask questions, not to report posts.) A mod takes a day or 2 to respond.

It's lovely that you share about your ECT experience. Thanks, Daonnachd! And I love your illustration.

I also had my initial ECT treatments inpatient, for many of the reasons you cited.

I had a wonderful session with my therapist...we were both angry about the tech issues that prevented us from having a session. My T spoke with the clinic director and I believe IT at the clinic will take the problem more seriously now. It is absolutely unacceptable for anyone to be unable to access their therapist, it could mean life or death in some cases.

There is a tree outside of my living room window that is in such glorious color, I cannot stop looking at it. It's as lovely as any spring flower. I hope it lasts for some days before the leaves fall.
