I'm completely at a loss as to how to empower myself with the ''professionals'' in this forest. Maybe I just need to ''shut up''...(with them, I already have) I feel like an idiot, but I'm not. Oh well. (not about the situation in the world ) (sorry about another thread, I do not usually make long posts, and my long rambling post has made me feel ugh (it took so long to write I don't want to just delete it)

Maybe I'll talk to that therapist a friend spoke to. I'm not optimistic. Maybe she will/would be ok though. Papa bear is not at all fond of the idea. Maybe I'll find some other way...

He didn't say I'm selfish btw (another post of mine was a bit confusing) I will try to just post replies for a while (if anything) as I do not want to clog up the board.

Hi Fuzzy, I'll just bet that Papa Bear thinks you are very, very good for him and to him. I base my belief on how you have described him.

As for a therapist...would it be possible to just meet her, then decide or think it all over before you commit to anything?

Thanks BethRags

I think for me, maybe the first conversation with a new therapist might be the worst, and all the anxiety before (and after) that conversation. (At least, that is assuming they are an ''ok'' therapist )

That's a good idea, if I do talk to her, I will not commit to anything during that conversation. I'll think it over (for however long I want or need to )

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
