For the first time in a while, I'm rapid cycling. Thoughts I haven't had in years have reentered into my mind.
Possible trigger:
I have no intention of doing the latter, the former's been harder to turn down.

I'm not sure why I'm writing this. I've gone up and down just trying to finish this post. I see my doc on Monday, so I'm trying to wait it out.

Does anyone else here rapid cycle after coming off of an ssri? Or any AD for that matter?

Sorry I don’t have any advice with antidepressants. The one time i was put on one it switched me into mania. Coming off of it gave me panic attacks.

I would be messed up in various ways, both physically and mentally, if I stopped taking an AD with nothing to replace it. Did you taper down? Are you on other meds?

Hey Mtn-
I feel for you. Rapid cycling can be BRUTAL. I was stuck there for years. Thankfully out of it now (so there is hope!). I’d message your pdoc just in case they can adjust meds today, before your appointment. Keep us posted. Sending love.

Hi mtn, I'm so sorry you are in this situation. Rapid cycling is awefull. I take Lamictal for BP depression, so I don't have any experience with the meds you are taking. Good for you for hanging in there until you see your pdoc. That takes strength. Please do whatever you can to avoid the former, and glad you are not seriously considering the latter. Know that we are here for you.
