Any natural ways to control hypomania/mania and anxiety? I really hate psychiatrists and I really don’t want to go to one rest rest of my life.

Well, I think if a person has a challenging bipolar illness, then it's hard to control without medications. However, low stress lifestyle and de-escalation by avoiding situations that fuel mania and anxiety, are the best bet. Healthful diet and coping skills can also be helpful, but are no guarantee for curbing or preventing episodes. I use all mentioned, in addition to my medications, to manage my bipolar illness.

Some people take fish oil. In my case, that does little or nothing, but it can't hurt. If it was a miracle worker, which it apparently isn't, we'd all be taking it or chowing down on fish and grains that contain Omega-3's. At least they don't cause side effects beyond maybe fish flavored burps or other digestive issues, in some people.

There's this thing called dark therapy that might be useful. Just what it sounds like. Stay in darkness for like 14 hours a day and supposedly mania will get better.

i am not sure if there are many ways to effectively control hypomania and anxiety without resorting to at least some medical support. i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters about trying to lead an healthy Lifestyle as much as possible. Please do consider seeing a professional but i do respect your decision either way. Sending many Safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @Bipolarchic14, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
Thanks for this!
