This morning i had a little packet of peaches-and-cream flavored instant oatmeal and vanilla Greek yogurt and calorie-free Pomegranate Passion Crystal Light flavored water.

If you have a pet, do you brush their teeth on a daily basis? The vet wants me too and i just find it absurd but i do love my dog and want her to live forever in comfort including dental health. It's just so silly, brushing a dog's teeth! Ridiculous!

No, but I wish I did because my 17 yr old cat now has terrible teeth/is very prone to infections in his mouth and the vet wants him to get a cleaning but he's old and the risk of putting him under is a little bigger than I'm comfortable with. There is a new fur baby in our family (~2 years old) who will be getting regular teeth brushings now though.

Have you ever been into any personality theories (Big 5, MBTI, enneagram, etc)?

Never heard of any of those so I guess the answer is no. There was one that was big awhile ago but I never got into it.

What is your favorite color, why.

Green. I think because it reminds me of spring although I'm not really sure why.

Do you have a favorite tree?

Nope...well I guess it depends on what you define as adventurous but no kangaroo burgers at the state fair and I will not eat the worlds hottest pepper. I do however like to explore new places to eat and I like food from various ethnicities.

@Bipolarchic14: Eeew, i wouldn't eat a kangaroo burger either! But, like you, i like new places to eat and ethnic food. There is an East Indian sweet dessert called "Barfi" and i would like to try it! It's just such a fun name for a food! "Do you like your Barfi?" "How is your Barfi?" "Are you enjoying the Barfi?" Just a quirk.

Do you have a hard time doing the dishes?

I actually am a pretty adventurous eater. I tend to also like most things I eat, with just some exceptions (super ripe cheeses, innards, and the like). I've lived and/or traveled in various countries around the world, and have given many seemingly strange things a try. These have included sea cucumber, chicken feet, thousand year eggs, stinky tofu, guinea pig, alpaca, blood sausage, Dorian fruit, sweet breads (brains), turtle soup, tripe, etc.

What is your favorite vegetable?

I manage. I don't enjoy it, though.

I'm really digging cauliflower right now. It's got an intriguing delicate taste.

In choosing fashion and decor, do you like bold design or subtle design? I like bold, i have many pieces with fascinating black-and-white prints.

Subtle except for one piece of art in my bedroom

What is your favorite tv series (on tv or streaming somehow)?

"Breaking Bad," without a doubt. I like stories about the evolution of one main character. Walter White will go down in history!

Do you like listening to local radio? I do. It's so nice to hear news and info relevant to my city. You don't get that with the Internet stations. It's good company. Of course, there are commercials but i just mute them. It's a great way of discovering music too. I heard Eminem's new song yesterday and liked it and it's how i discovered this artist called Moby who sings about emotional pain set to electronica, so unusual, usually that type of music is just about sex and dancing which is so boring.

I don't listen to any radio. No idea why, just got out of the habit I guess.

Have you ever accidentally taken your meds twice or mixed them up another way?

Yes, but not many times. Mostly something to do with my morning meds. I must mention that my husband once accidentally took my evening meds in the morning (similar-looking pill boxes). That was awful for him. He almost passed out at work. I had to pick him up and drive him home. Then he slept about 14 hours straight (during the day).

What initial side effect have you gotten over from a medication?

The whole reason I took sera quail was to sleep, but it stopped working. So I guess I got over the side effects.

What was your favorite toy growing up?

My bike. I rode it all over the neighborhood. Other than that, I wasn't that into traditional toys. I recall liking my Easy Bake Oven a lot. I was also a bit of a tomboy, so doing something outside was more my way. Dolls, not so much. The ones I did play with were more Barbie dolls. I never did the mothering thing. More wished I could play career-oriented adult.

Did/do you have a favorite pet? What did/do you like most about him/her?

I have 3 cats - I adore them all but my male cat Petey is my favorite because he snuggles in my lap when I'm watching TV and curls up next to me in bed. He's such a lover boy.

What was your favorite concert you went to?

I went to an Anderson .Paak concert the summer before Covid hit. It was at an outdoor venue on a hill, cut into the woods....beautiful. .Paak's music is a mix between old-school R&B & mild hip-hop. He's a very talented drummer, too. He won a Grammy this year for his song "Lockdown," which is about the BLM protests after the George Floyd killing:

Let's double that up. What was your favorite concert?

I saw Kylie Minogue July 2019 at Edinburgh Castle. Concerts in the castle are the best, the atmosphere electric. I'm not a huge Kylie fan but I went and loved every minute of it. Its open air so the summer night breeze was great after all the singing and dancing.

Question; What is your favourite film of all time? Why do you like it so much?

Sad to say it’s not the greatest film I’ve ever seen but Star Wars the 77 movie is an emotional favorite. The force, the newness, the native optimist views, the music, and being in a theater with 100’s of others all yelling at the bad guy. Yeah. Sitting in the theater from first showing till the last showing. Advengers end game was a better movie but Star Wars 77 has the emotional punch of a starry eyed youth on the cusp of freedom.

What about you? What’s your personal favorite movie?

Tough question. I think the movie that had the biggest emotional impact on me was "Life is Beautiful." It's an Italian movie written by and starring Roberto Begnini. Begnini won the Best Actor Oscar in 1997...the first foreign actor to win the award. It takes place during the 1930s in Nazi controlled Italy and, later, in a concentration camp. Believe it, or not, though, it's quite funny (when it's not tragic). Hard to explain. Begnini's character reminds me of Charlie Chaplin's style of comedy. Definitely a movie about persevering.

Mothers' Day is generally a day of great joy, sadness, or a day of little emotion. Which is it for you? Why?

I’ll find out next week. My last dr was great and he took me seriously. He left last August and I was assigned a new doctor. I just found a picture so I know it’s a guy but no idea how to pronounce any of his names and I’m nervous. But I find that ER is a problem. No matter what ER in any state they seem to be dismissive once they find out I’ve got bipolar.

Can you pronounce your doctors name?

Yes, they're all easy ones. Although when I had my achilles surgery last year my surgeon, the sweetest doctor ever, was from Africa. It took me a bit to get his name right.

Have you ever bought food from a street vendor?
