About 2 hours ago I suddenly went from fine to despondent. This has’t happened in so long. I’m now at my painting studio and don’t feel safe driving home. I called my pdoc who was concerned as this is out of the ordinary. She said take 25mg seroquel and I’ve done that I’m waiting to hear back from my therapist. I’ve been curled up on the old couch here. Every time I get up I feel like crying and crying. I’m afraid if I do it won’t stop. I will lie here and see if the seroquel works. I don’t feel very safe but I don’t feel like hurting myself either. I’ll check in later.

Good for you for taking the wisest steps - knowing you don't feel safe, calling your pdoc. You probably don't know quite yet if the Seroquel has helped, but please know you're in my thoughts. I'm sending you feel better vibes~**~**~***

Keep us posted!

Thanks guys. I was dissasociating. My therapist brought me back to reality this evening, connecting to the physical world around me. I was able to drive home and I will talk with my therapist on Monday. Wow, I haven't had it that bad in forever. It was scary. thanks for your thoughts.

You're welcome, Wolf. I actually stopped by the board to see if you'd updated. Dissociating against one's will can be the most unsettling sensation. I'm glad you're feeling more grounded, and hope the rest of your night is peaceful.

Thank you Beth. I seem to be OK now, but that was a doozy.

Gotta be resilient. "Resilience can help protect you from various mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. Resilience can also help offset factors that increase the risk of mental health conditions, such as being bullied or previous trauma. If you have an existing mental health condition, being resilient can improve your coping ability." - Mayo Clinic
