Could this be the result of being medicated for 4 months now?

Started Aripiprazole depot injection in Nov and get it monthly.

Started Depakote 1,000mg daily in Dec.

I feel amazing this week like I'm on cloud 9. I just want attention but no-one is giving me except a few guys. I'm just so alive

I'M ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC AH AH AH AH!!!

Please try to be Careful. Perhaps this may simply be a manic episode. i'd suggest to contact your Pdoc and tell him/her about this. Take Care of yourself. You've got this. Sending Many Safe, Warm hugs to BOTH you, @Miss Laura, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
Thanks for this!

Maybe this is you, not depressed. Your baseline, in other words.

Yeah, you think?

Is it normal to be this happy though as a normal mood?

I'm not sleeping, I'm hyper, I'm just so alive!!!

Don't feel bad for feeling good. I'm glad you're feeling this way...but try to keep it between the lines. A little bit of mania can be a very intoxicating thing.

yes , This sounds like hypomania.
The no sleeping was a classic indicator.
enjoy your high for now but see how you progress, try to reel it in so you don't accelerate.

Whether it's hypomania or not (sounds to me like you're heading that way) it'd be a good idea to call your treatment team and let them know what's going on. They can let you know if it is hypomania or not and help you take the next steps.

Whoops. Mania is fun, until it isn't. I'm glad you have an appointment with your nurse & therapist. At least you're aware that things have started to go off the rails. Try to avoid crossing any lines until you can get a med adjustment...easier said than done. Don't beat yourself up.

Miss Laura, you have these "manic" episodes frequently. I'm really not convinced they're manias so much as just your personality. But definitely check with your pnurse!

Could the injection be causing the high? Some antipsychotics are activating.
