I haven't seen one of these threads floating around lately, and we need to remind ourselves of every small victory.

I got out of bed.
I took my morning meds, even though I am questioning taking lamotrigine (Lamictal).
I showered, put on makeup, fixed my hair, got dressed in nice clothes. i.e., made an effort at my appearance today (usually it's 50/50 on that)
I wrote a poem and for the first time posted 2 poems in the creative forum (very scary step for me).

What positive things have you done today? Every little thing counts

I completed several house chores. I mailed a gift to my brother who is going through a cancer battle. I took my children to the library for Lego day and to pick out new books. I took my children to McDonalds which I dislike, but it is raining and they needed a place to play.

That's all I've done so far, but it has been a pretty productive morning. I'm grateful for another mentally stable and physically able day.

So far I’ve cut out and started sewing a t-shirt for my husband. Depending on how it goes I can make him another one for Father’s Day. It hurts to do it but he really appreciates it.

I planned my meals in MyFitnessPal for the first time in a while and plan to stay within my daily allowances. When I put my mind to it, I can come up with appealing low cal/fat/carb meals that satisfy me. I made flax meal blueberry muffins with erythritol. They're yummy, in my book. I like flax meal/seeds. They're high in omega 3s. I will limit my consumption of them all the same, but really they are quite satisfying.

Wow! You have done a ton! That’s wonderful! I would love to have that energy.

I'm house/pet/chickensitting so that was my day. Up at 5:15 to feed the dog, finally back to sleep after convincing her to sleep more about 6:30. Cleaned up the huge mole the cat killed and brought as a love offering to the dog. Gathered eggs and watered the chickens which is hard because I'm scared of birds and they all want to gather around when I fill the water. I found a bunch of eggs I'd missed all week (oops). Took a shower and will pack things up so I can go home tomorrow as soon as I can safely drive (when meds wear off). Otherwise had a nice day reading and enjoying the sunporch here and taking a walk with the dog. She went swimming and is drying slowly so I'm re-thinking that decision as she wants to lean on me and she is wet and smelly. Oh well. She's not a chicken or dead mole .

My little ones keep me active. I am grateful for that as I feel I would be much more of a couch potato without them. I don't like letting them lay around with their faces in a screen, so we try to plan a few activities each day. It is hard to keep coming up with ideas, but it all seems to work itself out if I don't stress and just let the fun unfold.

You seemed to have a pretty great day yourself. Nice job!

I did some more work in my French workbook, but not all of what my teacher assignment. Too bad. I'll go to the class today, but I don't want to.

I went to the grocery store and bought diet friendly foods for my husband and me. I feel like dieting might actually work now that I'm down to 500 mg Seroquel XR. I've lost 10 lbs in the past in about a little over a month at this dosage.

I got up in time to wake H and make his lunch though I felt like sleeping at least 6 more hours.
I didn't over-exercise.
I got most of my grocery shopping done.
I put a roast & vegetables in the oven for dinner. This ought to be interesting as I am not at all a good cook, and this is my first adventure with a roast. I have 2 or 3 recipes I'm good at and have had lots of cooking disasters, especially now that H has informed me very clearly that he does not like casseroles or crockpot meals.

I have gotten back on the diet wagon and feel excited about it. I've been "on plan" for a few days now. I've had my husband "on plan" for two. I do the meal planning for both of us, but he's following it as well as I am. We've been quite satisfied with our eating. I know how to cook diet-friendly when I set my mind to it. In fact, I like the food even more, but it does take effort.

I went to my French class again after a long "mental health break". I'm feeling very good.

Hubby went to his swim hole club and saw an unexpected person there. When he got home he played 20 questions with me to guess who it was. It took me around 15 questions, but I finally guessed right. He saw my psychiatrist there. Boy am I glad I wasn't there in a swimsuit! That would be AWKward! My husband introduced himself (not sure if pdoc remembered him) and when he said "I am [BirdDancer's/First Name's] husband" my pdoc said "Yes, I know" in his usual stiff way. Hubby said he looked cool wearing casual clothes/shorts and a baseball hat. My pdoc is somewhat easy to spot. He is a mature, quite good-looking, bearded 6'7" man with a mallifluous voice.

I cleaned my kitchen and had a relaxing morning listening to music, didn't jump on my phone and/or computer right when I woke up, and it was very peaceful. Wrote in my journal and filled out my mood chart

I read for a while this morning. I then did the dishes. After that I painted a couple of doors that were in need of refreshing. I vacuumed the upstairs of our home and then did an exercise video. I just made lunch for my little ones and plan to relax during their rest time after lunch. It was a productive morning.

I hope you've been relaxing a bit. You did a lot!

I feel like I was cooking and doing dishes all day long. I took my meds and am already in my pajamas in bed. Again, hubby out of the blue announced that his work mate is coming over tonight. He never checks with me on this. I like her, but I don't feel the need to even greet her tonight. She's coming over for work-related things, anyway. I'll tell my husband to say I'm under the weather. Otherwise, the weather was absolutely gorgeous today! We enjoyed both lunch and dinner on our beautiful deck with oodles of flowers and birds flying by.

I did relax for a bit. My dad came over and we talked and played pool and had a good time. We had an early dinner and I'm already relaxing in my pjs for the night.

I showered, did dishes, and cleaned the kitchen. I also kept up with cleaning up after two adorable but as-yet-un-housebroken puppies.

Got out of bed when I really, really didn't want to. Kitty care, dishes, had a bath, I even put on some make up. Returned an unopened bag of litter and picked up more cat food and a different litter. Completed the online grocery order for the week. I even dug out last year's income tax assessment in order to fill out a proof that I'm poor as dirt form, so that my electric company will send me a box of energy saving stuff.
