I keep trying to use the @ symbol to reply to others in check in (rather than make separate posts), but it doesn't work for me. I'm using a desk top pc...does that @ work only on certain devices? Does anyone know?

It worked for me, I received a notification.

So my @'s are working for some people, not for others. Very stupid.

Hm-m-m-m... I didn't receive this mention either. But thanks for trying! Mentions have typically been working for me in the past. But perhaps something has changed that has caused me to no longer receive them? I don't know. I haven't changed any of my settings recently. So it wouldn't be that. Oh well... there's nothing I can do about it. So I just won't worry about it.

It never works for me unless I type a word before it so if I wanted to say “@ beth” I would have to type “hey @ beth”. I’m asked about this before and everyone keeps telling me it works for them but it never works for me.

I honestly refuse to use it even if I learned how too..

I simply dont care for it. No offense to anyone that uses it for me, I do not even look at it.

In my case, I don't subscribe to most of the threads I reply to. So if someone comments on my reply, but doesn't "Mention" me, chances are I'll never see it.

Sadly, I feel that those who are enabled in their 20's or beyond by their parents, who take it for granted the parents will cater to all their needs, and who behave like entitled children, will never understand those with Parental Units.... and maybe will find life more ''difficult'' in a few years time.....

I can relate and I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. My sentiment is a little different. I just want people to acknowledge that not everybody’s parents are positive .
