If you could have any job that would help you with you bipolar symptoms what would it be? I am thinking something to do with animals. Anywhere from a vet assistant to a dog walker. Something low stress and I would get exercise.

I worked in a coffeehouse for 13 years...a real one, independently owned. I loved my job there and it was helpful because I was moving all the time. I t was stressful (extremely busy) at times, but I didn't have a problem with that.

Though as a full-time job it would be too much for me, I would be happy to cook for some people in need, part-time. I suppose the most satisfying and low stress would be to do it for individuals in real need (such as individual elderly or disabled person), rather than large scale for a soup kitchen or Meals On Wheels. Of course I'd need the persons (or someone else) to pay for the actual groceries, but I'd do the cooking/baking either for free or very low cost. I would cook/bake anything they'd like. If I didn't have experience making their favorites, I'd learn how. That would be fun and satisfying for me.

Something creative, like writer or advertising or tattoo artist. Or maybe something fun, my old summer job now has "Fun Squad" where you walk around the park dancing with guests. That might suck in 90+degree weather though.

I'd want to be a college advisor for kids in need. I'd only take a handful of kids a year and couldn't do it full time. That or I would love to learn to draw and be a part time illustrator. I would love to go back to school for it some time but that's unlikely. I'm thinking it'll take me 9 years to get my associates degree. 1 class at a time

I have worked in Medical field my whole life, Except one year I worked for a insurance company.. It was sooooooooo boring.
My dream job has always been to be a RN working in the ER.

I do the absolute worst job IMO for someone with Bipolar. I straddle the fence right now between diagnoses (in other words, the psych can't make up his mind). I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 1, mixed states mostly with psychosis. Now the thought is more like i have schizoaffective disorder but my doc said he would treat me the same either way. Oh yeah, I am an attorney. We are mad busy right now. I have been there 14 years and I have never seen anything like it. I can barely cope. Some days I work like a little ticking clock all day long. Other days I stare at the computer screen literally frozen in place and I can't seem to move to do anything. I'm in a world of hurt right now, my friends. But I would choose college professor if I were to choose. I loved college. I love learning. Then again I kind of just hate other people's entitled kids. Lol. But I love my entitled kids (kind of hoping they are less entitled than the others).
