I wouldn't know as I've never seen it. I no longer desire to watch cartoons or other childrens entertainment. Not that I don't still have affectionate thoughts about ones I watched as a child (in the 1970s and 1980s). From what I've seen since, the new stuff doesn't compare, in my book. There's surely some truth to this, but also some typical "When I was young things were better..." involved. I would hate to be a kid again. I'm much more interested in adult movies and shows. Since I never had children, I've not had to watch such things.

What was the first major thing you ever did alone/independently?

When I was nine I had the house to myself for the three day weekend. An aunt and uncle dropped by to see my parents and I made coffee got out snacks and entertained them for a couple hours. They had nice things to say to my parents so after that I got left alone a lot.

As you get older do you have a harder time handling the extremes of weather?

Have you ever eaten alone at a restaurant (not fast food)?

You know, I don't believe I have even if you included fast food (except Dunk's for a passing coffee).

If you have/ever had pets, have you tried eating their food at some point?

Only horse food that was coated in molasses when I was a kid. We stopped that when we found out mice lived in the food bin.

What is the grossest thing you've ever eaten?

~10 years ago I got in a mountain bike crash not wearing any protective equipment and got a concussion, tore ligaments and broke bones in my hand (along with being all scraped up). Took me three days to see a doc who splinted my hand wrong because he only saw the fractured bones not the ligament damage (saw by a doc after three weeks of it being splinted that way!). The concussion was never diagnosed but since I told a doc about what happened and he said it was likely I was concussed based on the symptoms (passing out, dizzy, not remembering, headaches, feeling foggy). I think I still have symptoms from the TBI and my hand still hurts when I use it too much.

Are you or have you ever been an adrenaline junkie?

Only when manic. When manic I managed to forget I'm very scared of heights and among other things went on something called a SkyBlaster. Bungie cords, safety harness thing, and a long way above Niagara Falls on a dare. (Pre-any medication at all)

Have you told your treatment providers about this website?

Gone With the Wind, although with regard to movies or shows I really love I can watch them again and again. I'll always find something new about the movie or show that I hadn't noticed before.

What is your first sign that spring has come?

I don't think so. I hope not.

Have you ever scattered ashes of a loved one?

Me personally? No, but my nephew's ashes and some of my mother's were scattered in a forest near my childhood home. I'll say that cremation (instead of burial in a coffin) was my original idea. My father and sister liked the idea. It was a first in the family.

Where is your favorite spot in the world?

Loch Lomond in Scotland. It's magical. The Loch is long so you have different scenery all around. We use to go there when we were kids and now we go as adults. My patents wish is to scattered their ashes there when my Dad passes. Check Google out in regards to Loch Lomond... you won't be disappointed

Question; if you watch a show that has mental health in specifically something you struggle with how do you feel? Do you feel sad for yourself and the character or relief your not like them?

usually worry or concern for them.

it's only recently dawned on me, that people acting in shows are just that, acting

I remember so many times where people got involved in storylines relating to mental health, and I've felt worried that they are struggling, then realise that actually the person's probably fine, it's just acting

do you ever get those moments where you look back over your life and think, it's such ashame I didn't do this?

I don't remember any particularly bad birthday as a child. I do remember my family and I coming home after a New Year's dinner at my grandparents' to find our house robbed. The robbers half trashed our house. My father was the most disturbed of us all. It's hard seeing a parent in such distress.

Who do you think is/was the most sensitive person in your family? In what way did it really show?

Me? My mum constantly points out that I'm "too sensitive" and I shouldnt be so "upset" when theyre just "funning around, most of the time"

Who has been one of the biggest inspirations in your life?

My favorite song is called "The Bird in the Gravel." It's by Canadian artist Jane Siberry and is from the 80s. It's not really a song, more audio performance art. It is ten minutes long and there are different character and time changes and sound effects. It's so beautiful, so ethereal!

What is your favorite type of sky? Storybook with puffy white clouds on bright blue or moody with many shades of grey and blue?
