We had a really bad ice storm one year, lost power for over two weeks and a bunch of elderly people died because we had a cold front come in right after it and I'm assuming they froze to death; nearly everyone without a generator or wood stove had their pipes burst. I remember on like day 10 afterwards the fire department coming around and checking in on people and there still being trees in the road.

Have you ever read your psych. notes? Find anything interesting in there?

A: I have read my psychiatric notes once when transferring clinics. There was a lot of talk of wanting to tackle down a personality disorder, but I don't think that ever happened at my new clinic. Other than that, just the typical stuff you'd expect.

Q: What is the worst medication experience you've had?

It was rough!

What was one of the worst natural disasters you lived through?

yes- powercut and power outage are the same thing

‘‘Twas a long time ago, back in the eighty’s. My pdoc put me on a new med. I felt so awful, I made an appointment went in to complain and she just waved it away and told me to keep on and give it time. Back then my pdoc was part of a huge teaching complex. So on my way out I stopped at the medical research room. I asked for the latest research on the two meds I was taking. The researcher apologized and said there wasn’t much just these three small reports. All three said it was extremely dangerous to combine these two meds and listed the symptoms that I had just reported to my pdoc. So I went back up to her office. Gave the articles to the secretary and asked her to show the doctor. Within an hour I was inpatient in the medical hospital being withdrawn from both meds!

Do you often miss the ends of shows on TV?

yes- quite often I get bored before I get to the end of a show, and it's sad because in most cases, I really enjoy the shows..

I also cry at the end of shows, even if I don't really like them

I litirally sobbed at the end of ammerican idle and no one could understand why. someone was like to me- but you've never watched an episode of american idle in your life, why are you so sad?

and the truth is, I don't know,. still didn't eat for days over a show I never even watched.

I sobbed too at the end of downton abby, but I'm really looking forward to the second movie coming out in march

what is one tv show or one movie, you never want to watch again?

I used to enjoy your posts, but many folks seem to come & go. I was hoping you were just in a good space. That's when I generally take a break.

Like tonight? In a word, yes.

Do you believe in a higher power, or are you a skeptic?

I guess I do in a way, but definitely wouldn't see God as some old white man looking down at us from the heavens. That would seem ridiculous, in my book.

Do you consider yourself more of a dreamer or realist?

I believe in a higher power for sure. I don’t have an answer for a lot of things. I was brought up strictly a particular religion but I think if we look across all different ones we would find commonality of some aspects.

Do you believe in life after death?

It’s complicated, sort of reincarnation but without the sense of I, ego and Id. The spark of life goes on to spark another life weather it be a blade of grass or a animal

Do you believe that all life has its out energy?

I don't think I know what that is.

If you are going to a restaurant (or getting take-out these days) with gourmet burgers, steaks, chicken, pork, shrimp, pasta and salads what do you choose? (For the purpose of this exercise price is not an option)

Oh! Sorry that was supposed to say have it’s own energy! Yeah that made no sense.

Hmm tough choice can I have grilled shrimp 🍤 and a salad? Or a salad with shrimp in it?

If money was no objet would you rent or own?

Haha, shrimp is what I'm choosing . (It's my brother's birthday celebration).

Assuming i also was guaranteed stable health I'd own. I miss owning my house but I couldn't handle it any more. What i have no is pretty perfect; I live in a small house on my mom's property. I paid rent until the mortgage was paid off and now I don't have to do that.

What kind of hair do you have? Straight/curly/wavy/long/short/natural color/dyed/etc

It’s a wavy salt and pepper faded auburn that I should probably dye until it turns into a prettier silver grey, but this color looks pretty good with my new glasses so I won’t dye it soon. Dads hair turned silver early on but mum at 93 still has very dark natural hair with only a bit of gray.

Do you watch late night talk shows? If so which ones.

Ooo that’s a tough one too. I love chai but limit myself to one. If I drink soda I also limit myself to one so mostly I drink water,…but I don’t love it.

What’s your favorite month?

May...It's not too hot, but it's green & the daylight hours are longer. That's baseball season, too.

Same question...

My favorite month is likely May. It's my birthday and anniversary month, plus spring is lovely. I suppose a runner up would be September. That's one of the loveliest months of autumn. Again, pleasant weather, sights and smells. I do tend to be more stable in autumn than in spring, the latter in which I often become hypomanic or manic, however last spring I did not.

What time of day do you usually feel at your best? And how does that feeling differ from other times of day?

1-8 pm because I'm awake and not fighting for it, nor am I fighting to go to sleep.

Would you drive as an Uber or Doordash or similar?

No. I'm not at all fond of driving, so it would be too stressful for me. I can drive, but do so in a very limited way.

Have you ordered online groceries in the past? If so, how often have you done it?

I just did it recently, was offered free delivery so tried it. But the extra fees added up. Wouldn’t do it again. But did try the grocery pick up service. The ordering on line was easy. I pick them up this afternoon. We’ll see how that part goes then.

Do you have a pet?

Yup, 3 cats.

Do you typically listen to music of the same (presumably your favorite) genre or do you enjoy music of all genres?

I like all genres but I tend to listen to Green Day, Alanis Morrisette, PINK.... I like old school music from the 90's/00's the UK produced some brilliant bands and I just love re-living my youth lol!

Question: What's your favourite meal of all time? Do you get to have it often? Is it better if someone else makes it?
