T went well. I'm home. She talked to H. Made a quick safety plan and talked about how I don't think him or anyone loves me in fact everyone hates me but he's the one I care about. she learned a lot talking to h and handled everything extremely well. She's definatly on my side. Then we went out to eat and miguel called with a finals crisis. So we went to deal with that.

I took my meds late then stayed up too late so I couldn’t take seroquel so I didn't go to sleep until 1am. It was fitful and then I had a horrible nightmare, I mean horrible horrible and woke up at 3:15am. I was crying and everything. I haven’t been able to go back to sleep. It’s 5:30am now.

Thank god I wear glasses. They hide the bags under my eyes. I’m still gonna look like hell at my interview but it’s just for a retail store so whatever. If they don’t hire me it’s not the end of the world, I’ll apply elsewhere. Plenty of retail stores are hiring right now. I just like that particular dollar store because it’s clean and quiet. It’s in a rich area so I know I’ll have to deal with plenty of entitled people but again, whatever.

I have to go to program but I know I’m going to be late. I always am, I don’t like the first group.

A lot of us are struggling right now and I wanted to start by saying I hope everyone finds some comfort and relief soon from our struggles. I'm sending good vibes, thoughts, and wishes to everyone.

I'm up early today, but I don't mind it. I may go walking this AM before it gets too hot, we'll see what I end up doing.

Success! Mustachio is wearing her bow tie collar! I took the bell off it so it doesn’t distract her

I’m running on zero sleep. It’s gonna be a long day.

I hope everyone has a good day

Mustachio is SO CUTE with that bow tie! They had a Guinea pig costume last Halloween with a bow tie and top hat and I totally wanted it but I didn’t think Herbert would be amenable lol.

By the way his full name, as christened by RS, is Herbert Marshall Rockefeller the third, esquire. He is a lawyer lol.

Thank you! I'm happy she likes it, I'm going to get her some different themed bow ties for all the different holidays, I found some cute ones on amazon

I am still struggling with a deep depression. It is impacting my focus and concentration very much. I’m not able to communicate effectively right now. My NP says it will take 1-2 weeks for the Wellbutrin to kick in. That seems like an eternity right now. Still considering inpatient help. I no longer have SI but I’m not in my right mind either.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day. Hugs to all!

Totally adorable! It looks like you took the last two photos while lying on the floor with her. She's beautiful, and her scratching post/play gym looks fun!

I've been thinking that when my husband and I finally move to a more permanent home that I'd like a cat. I always loved them, but haven't had a kitty since my youth. My cat back then had a "half of a mustache" and was black and white like Mustachio. His name was "T.C." for Top Cat. He was already named when we adopted him at 2 years old. I think I more often just called him "Honey Muffin". My husband has always been strictly a bird guy. I also love birds and fell in love with my past parrots, but I've always thought cats were a better match for me.

I remember the very first cat I had as a little child (I was maybe 6 years old). He was an adorable kitten that my mother let me pick out. When we got home, Mom said I could name him because he was mine. For some reason I thought to look for names in the bible. I opened it up and the name "Solomon" appeared, so that's what I named him. A few days later, when I returned home from school, I looked for my little kitten, but he was nowhere to be found. When I saw my mother, she took me aside to tell the bad news. Apparently my dad grew furious about Solomon peeing on the rug, so told my mom to take him back. I remember Mom crying as she told me, and she apologized and assured me Solomon had a new home. I cried, a lot. I've always remembered Solomon, and have vowed that if I get another male cat that the new cat will be "Solomon" again, in honor of my first kitty. I had T.C. after Solomon, but as T.C. was already named, the name waits for the next cat.

Thank you! And yeah I get down on the floor sometimes to play with her so when I took those pics I was playing with her then laying down and she was laying down next to me. The scratching post/play gym thing was delivered yesterday, she loves it so much

I hope you get another cat someday, they’re so much fun!

Well my iron is back to normal! Yay 😀 I’m hoping that means I can stop the iron pills. The rest of my blood work was normal except for two things which both could be indicative of heart disease. No surprise there I’ve been surprised that it hasn’t shown up earlier as both my parents had heart problems. But I’m already doing what I can for that. The aqua and fitness classes. Just have to wait and see what he says tomorrow.

A brilliant day today, sunny and finally warmer, up to 60F today! Spring!

@Blue_Bird

This was my Kiki Cat. Her name was Bootsy but we ended up just calling her Kiki cause it's what she responded to. She passed away this last October. She was 12 years old and had cancer. I still miss her a lot. Just thought I'd share because Mustachio reminds me so much of her. Funny story about this photo. Kiki loved my shoes. I never knew why but when I'd come home she'd lay next to them and on top of them just like that photo! haha

@WindsThatBlow she was beautiful and it sounds like she had a fun personality! I’m so sorry for your loss I believe that pets are waiting for us in whatever afterlife there may be but I know other people believe different things. That’s what brings me comfort when thinking about my past cats

Therapy was useless. The blood thing went good. The building was a lot nicer then the one I normally go to. The nurse had no trouble getting a vein this time. She still had to sit with me and It was still slow getting it into the bag but the whole procedure went a lot faster and smoother then the first one. Their was some old guy across from me. And some some older lady at the end of the row. I asked the nurse working with me what the symptoms of high hematricrit are and she said shortness of breath, fatigue, irritation. Yeah I've for sure had fatigue and irritation. She said I should feel better in a couple days. Right now I feel decent. I just feel kinda nauseated. But I don't feel the way I did after I had the first one.

The news is concerning though and what it could mean for trans rights. I know the trans guys over on ftm Reddit who haven't gotten hystsrectomys yet are panicking.

Haha, a lawyer...that's adorable. Some years ago I owned 26 rats. I had rescued a pregnant female, Edie, and her mate, Elijah. Edie gave birth to 19 children!! That's a huge litter, even for a rat. And I owned other rats, so I built "rat condos" for each gender. What a delightful experience the rats were! The ladies keep their spaces clean and neat, whereas the guys are slobs (no kidding, lol). They're all so smart, and very, very loyal. My last rat was specially bred to be a gorgeous light grey-blue color. Her name was Misty Blue. I miss her so much.

Oh, how terrible for you to lose your kitten like that.

I have a half-mustache guy, Jack. He's the largest cat I've ever seen, no kidding. Sleek black with some white, tall and LONG! What's amusing is that here's this enormous cat and he's extremely timid. He lives in my walk-in closet (I call it "Jack's apartment).

I also have a Solomon! He had the name when I adopted him and it's just right for him, so I kept it. He's my "old guy." Sweet, gentle cat...except when he is naughty and chases poor little plump Sadie, lol.

Well, as I kinda figured she would, my therapist cancelled again today. She has always cancelled a lot and that's the one thing that does make therapy with her really hard, the inconsistency. I have an appt. scheduled for tomorrow, but if she comes in I'll be surprised.

So it's the grocery store and I'm going to take my car in for a much-needed oil change. And it's going to be quite warm today.

See everybody later. Wishing peace for all~**~***
