New month new thread.
My weight is finally moving in the right direction. I am at 184.4 for 2 mornings in a row.
I have been drinking more fluids water and na Non alcoholic beers.
I think the linzess is working finally. I had a smallish bm today, after I got home from work.
I did not have any urge so that is concerning. I have been taking 2 fiber gummies twice a day
along with 2 stool softeners twice a day.

Does anyone know what delta 8 is? Our vape shops sell it and kratom.
That is what my friends son died of an overdose of kratom.

I need to go shoe shopping for the reunion It is coming up soon.
My black sandals fell apart. So I need to buy some comfortable

ones as I should be doing a lot of standing. My twin Gretchen
said she was going to put me to work. She is helping organize
the 40ish reunion. it is really our 41st but they could not do

the 40th last year because of covid.

They have opened it up to other classes, as they did not get

the response they were looking for. I think they have met

a break even point.
WE have had so much rain. The mosquitoes are horrible!
We were going to go to the shrimp and petroliem festival on sunday
but the weather looks awful. So we may not go.
It is an hour away so maybe the storms will pass by Morgan city.
Jeff cooked dinner tonight. He marinaded pork chops.and we had

cawliflower that he mixed with the marinade and it was very good.
He is a much better cook then I.
I Had ordered some of partake IPAs and they came in along with 8 other 6 packs.
They had called me to tell me they were in. So I bought all 12 of them.
That will last me a few weeks. So far I am AF except for our wedding anniversary.
and our 3 day weekend in pensicola. I am not counting days any more.

Possible trigger:

is "weed lite". I smoke it. Daily lately. There's edibles too my husband takes them. I don't trust edibles. I don't leave the house when on it. Someone I know had heart issues using it. It takes away some of my symptoms

Possible trigger:

In my state it falls under a farmers act Delta-8 derived from hemp carrying up to 0.3% THC is currently legal. Marijuana is classified as above 0.3% You'll still test positive for THC but It's a much lower dose it is banned or restricted in 21 states. But federally it's legal. So possession is a sticky situation in those states because it's a grey area.

Delta 8 is not legal here, which is a joke. I mean...this is California. I suspect corruption of some sort.

You must have graduated in '81, too? My class reunion was exactly the same - no 40th during covid. Unfortunately, the guy who was organizing our reunion for this didn't do his job well and ended up cancelling it. I have been on 2 reunion committees and both reunions were terrific. It takes a lot of hard work to do a reunion and some people aren't aware of that when they start out.

Anyway, since our reunion was cancelled a group of us will be going to dinner next Saturday. I need shoes, too, but after putting together the rest of my outfit I have no more energy for shoes. My palazzo pants will cover my shoes, so I'll be wearing platform sandals I already own.

When is your reunion?

183 this morning that is a 21 pound weight loss since my highest weight 204
not that long ago.
By drinking fattening beers in large quantities contributed tremendously to my weight gain. Since I have been drinking these NA partakes I have been able to lose the weight.

Well, if your outfit is almost all black brown shoes wouldn't be the best match, I don't think. But if there's only some black in your outfit, brown shoes could work well.

thanks beth I think I have decided to wear the brown shoe boots. my pants are long and will mostly hide the shoes hiding my weight gain is priority one. and the black helps to do that. When is your luncheon?

We went to a festival yesterday and I had too much to drink, had fun. I will not be AF for festivals or on vacation.

My dinner is Saturday evening. Small group of friends (8?10?). Some close friends, other close friends I wish would be there, but won't be.

I looked at the menu for the restaurant and I was shocked. It is quite upscale and very expensive. Outrageously pricey. I really wish the 2 friends who arranged the dinner would have chosen a more affordable venue. I have to come up with gas money to drive 50 miles round trip, plus money for dinner. I'm afraid to ask David for the money; he'll be angry. But he's my only source for that kind of money.

If you explain it to him then maybe he won't get mad at you.

went to an old watering hole last night fat pats, just down the street.
I had a pretty good salad with seared tuna and 2 eggs fried on top.
I drank soda water and avoided drinking one of my favorite beers that they now have on tap. Holly beach. Yummy!

"Flavors" more of just a hint of flavor. husband

likes the razz/cranberry one best.
We have a case of them that I just put into the fridge.
He drinks them every day with dinner. Which one do you like?

I drink my non alcohol beers. I have a case of stevia
flavored zevia root beers that I have yet to open and some

sparkling waters.That are just fair.
between my partakes and 0.00 beers and jeffs beer.

Half the fridge is full of beverages!

hubby is still not home from his rehearsal with the latin band.

he usually textes me to let me know whats happening.
he was due home half an hour ago.
heard from him, He said they were just wrapping up.
over 3 hour rehearsal He is beat. He just called so he
should be home by 945pm. He had dinner at popeyes.
around 5;30 before the practice at 6 pm.I went

to have a quick dinner at a chicken place I ordered

a big salad with chopped chicken and an avocado.
with a spicy dressing and a side of cilantro dressing as well.
It was very good and took half of it home.

He just walked in the door.

Just got home on sunday at 10;45 pm Jeff picked me up.
my Indy to dallas got diverted to oklahoma because of
a storm that popped up with hail and lightening.
So they stopped in OK to refuel. the storm passed
and we flew back to dallas. my2 hour layover was

down to half an hour.
So I dragged my carry ons and walked very quickly

thru the airport for my next flight home, made the gate

with 5 minutes until boarding.whew!
The reunion was nice 60 grads arrived with spouses

and some single people.
120 turned out.The silent auction was great.
we raised almost $2,000 to be split between
ronald mcdonald house and another cancer site,
can't remember what that one was.
Monday I woke up with a scratchy throat and by
the end of the day it was sore. So I thought covid
or strep. So I went into a med check place and got
tested for both. negative good. He did diagnose

pharengitis.
he gave me prednisone 20mg x 4 days just picked

it up today hoping that I can sleep tonight!
The steroids helped my knee and my back as well.

reunion. So a friend leanna
had a pair of sandals that she let me borrow for
the evening.
The 3 inch heel(shoe boot) was like disintegrated

it was the oddest dress catastrophe, I have some
black boots that I will wear for jeffs birthday dinner
.We are going to our favorite restaurant : Marcellos.
He turned 60 today. he is at a rehearsal for the latin
band for the latin fest october 1st. After a quick
dinner at pizza artista where your pizza is ready in

5 minutes.after placing an order kind like a subway.
you walk thru the line and pick out the items you want.
very good pizza usually.
WE split a small one with the traditional toppings.
After diner we came home and jeff asked if I wanted
a truffle , then he said, did you get me a cake? hangs her head,
no I did not. I never even thought of that.

you don't turn 60 every day. he is buying himself a
new gig guitar.My twin and I turn 60 on january 1st.

We have been talking about taking a river cruise by viking.
They are pricey but should be a lot of fun.

When we turned 50 the 3 girls(older sister) went on

a carnival cruise for 4 nights out of new orleans.

All 3 of us in one room it was quite crowded.

But we had a good time.
