I wish I could meditate.

I would say it’s getting better but my anxiety was through the roof earlier today. It’s ok right now if I keep my mind off of earlier.

Same question

My mental health is definitely worse since my minor stroke. I’m on edge and anxious and with daylight savings ending this weekend and the weather changing my mood is dipping. I’m taking my vitamin d supplements but I’m not hopeful of change.

What’s your favourite season for your mood to feel a bit better?

I think Fall is my favorite season because I grew up in New York and it was always so beautiful, and the crisp smell of the fresh Fall air was always so refreshing.

Do you feel better or worse now that the weather is supposed to be getting warmer?

I’m glad that it’s warm enough that when it snows it doesn’t stick. I’m not sure. Earlier this week I would’ve said I feel worse but today was ok.

If you’re living off SSDI or SSI how often do you have trouble making ends meet? I over spent last month so I’m paying for it this month.

I have SSDI. We don't have troubles, but my husband also works full-time.

Same question.

My friend in Florida- soon to move to New Hampshire- said she lost her SSDI when she got married. They kept sending her money for the year! She spent it all and is still waiting to hear back about if she has to pay the money back.

Wow. That really sucks! I got my SSDI while I was married.

I make my ends meet with my SSDI because I do a couple of side gigs on the side to make rent and extra expenses.

Did you feel any different today with the eclipse?

I just felt amazed. It was a profound experience in a way I don't have words to explain.

Do you like to bake?

My oven is sitting there, never been used, lol.

Does the weather affect your mood at all?

The weather totally affects my mood! Rain and cold weather especially make me feel miserable. Summer makes me feel great!

How many mental health professionals do you actively see?

Yes! I go to the gym and do the elliptical and bike, I also walked on the track and the abs machine. I also do my Just Dance workout video on my playstation at home.

Do you get more energy at night or in the morning?

In the morning. I’m wiped out at night!

Coffee or tea as your first drink of the day?

Neither - I have a SlimFast Vanilla Shake first thing in the morning.

What time of the year are you the most manic, (if you can remember)?

Spring-December although it’s probably happened during a winter too. Oops.

Is bipolar a blessing or a curse?

I’m not good at it at all. My youngest child is currently taking Calculus 3 at the community college and he’ll sometimes try to explain it to me but it just goes straight over my head.

Do you have a pet? (I have my kitty.)
