So I just plain old no called/no showed today. Asshole move, I know, but if I do 2 in a row I get fired so that's the plan. I'm not working there another two weeks I missed two consecutive doses yesterday and it really f**ked with me so I'm not going to put myself in a position where I can do that again.

@MuddyBoots is it possible to explain enough of the situation to them you don’t burn a bridge without disclosing more than you’re comfortable with? I know bipolar isn’t understood by the majority of people and it’s a risk.
Thanks for this!

It didn't have to be fancy. For instance, one semester I set aside an hour after class but before work to get a coffee, do a sudoku puzzle and read a spy novel. Or I'd look up new releases at the movie theater and plan some movie nights a month or so in advance.

For me, those totems gave a small sense of structure, a milestone to look forward to when everything else was in flux.

Probably, but that's a bridge I don't mind burning. I worked there two weeks, not like I'm going to use them as a reference or anything.

I'm not sure about the trainee. Her foot was black and blue and she said it burned (they just ran over her foot).

I understand, but I don’t think burning any bridge is safe. Too many variables.

That story about the run over is scary. I’ve known a person whose foot got run over by a car. And he was a mess for a long time. I hope they’re ok.

Sweetpea. Boots. You're not feeling good or safe or ready about the job. I can feel that feeling in my gut. Blah, I swear I can. Maybe in the spring a job could be something to try.

Yeah, I'm not going back. I never got a call from them today about not showing up so I guess they don't need me as much as they made it seem. Unless they saw me almost pass out yesterday (I haven't eaten since Friday and haven't held down food since Wednesday) and figured I'm sick or something like I told them last Wednesday.
