Yeah, we're talking about the same time, just 1999 was the year we left and 2000 the one we went into with Y2K fears.

You're right, those gizmos would be neat to own now.

I don't remember Y2K. I was 6. I vaugely remember my 1st grade teacher talking to my class about it right before school let out for winter break. But my parents weren't worried at all so I guess maybe thats why I don't remember. I hear theres supposed to be another Y2K in like 2035 or something.

I think I'm doing much better then I realize. Today is the day I get my weekly injection and I totally forgot until my mom reminded me. Normally the day before I'm a complete anxious mess. Yesterday wasn't terrible though. I had some slight irritation and breif anxiety, but it wasn't a big deal. Then normally the morning of the shot I can barely breathe because I'm so anxious and the second my mom wakes up I need it. But I woke up early today and worked out for half an hour and had a couple sodas and then went back to bed and then got up at 7 and watched the news. My moods were decent. My pain from working out was a bit tough so I took tylenol. It wasn't until an half an hour ago that my mom reminded me it was Sunday and I was just kinda dumbfounded that I wasn't an anxious mess like I used to be before the dose was increasee.

So idk. It seems this increase and also the increase in Prestiq are really helping me out.

Happy new Years all. I have been having anxiety problems for a month or two now. Well my free supply of Latuda ran out and I have had to quit it. Well my anxiety problems are starting to go away. I start Lamictal this next week so let's see how that goes.

Happy New Year’s to everyone.

Last night was a lot of fun. Returned home from the party around 3:30 am. I needed a fun night out. What a way to usher out 2022 and welcome in 2023. Planning on a relaxing day today and watching the Rose Parade tomorrow. The year 2023 is shaping up nicely.

I will get back into the swing of things with a Zoom meeting, aqua fit and a book club meeting Tuesday the 3rd.

I hope everyone has a peaceful New Year’s Day. Much love

I’m not supposed to drink or smoke weed but did both last night to a gratuitous level. I can’t get out of bed.

We didn’t like the broadcast specials so ended up watching a1930’s film, Topper. Lighthearted and fun. Then watched a Agatha Christie movie until 11:50, watched the end of D I c k Clark’s special. Said happy New Years and went to bed. No toasts, no egg nog. Now I’m watching a repeat of the National Championship Dog Show. And watching Walter santi videos! So I’m getting my animal fix.

Last night I took both my Dinner meds and my Night meds at the same time LOL I was fast asleep by 9:30

Y2K oh gosh I remember that. Honestly I wasn’t all that worried about it. I was working for a Doctor and it was still paper charting. We scheduled appts on line so he had 3 months worth printed out just “in case “

I started my new PsA med yesterday with no problems. I do worry a bit about the risk of cardiac problems which is slightly higher than Xeljanz. I’m sure I’ll be fine.

Hallie ( thanks again girl ) sent me the book “ Where the crawdads sing” I’m really enjoying it. So if anyone is looking for a new book.

I think I’m getting sick throat is a bit sore, congestion that’s the burning nonsense, chest is tight. I have a full course of antibiotics and steroids IF I need them. I keep hoping this is just sinuses inflamed and it will go away.

My friend posted this on Facebook and it spoke to me …. Bipolar Check-in #72

I thought Y2k was dopey and got sooo tired of hearing about it.

The rain entirely passed overnight, although some regions have been left with tremendous floods and there's been another fairly large earthquake on the north coast. People are saying they felt this one as more of a "shake are rattle" because it was closer to the earth's surface (sometimes quakes feel more like a "roll").

We're still having strong winds, however, which can cause power outages. I think we'll be okay here. I'm just afraid about Sidney's insulin requiring refrigeration.

I sympathize with those who are sick! I’m still not running on all four cylinders! It seems I’m ok for most of the day and then by like 3-4pm my body says no you must rest right now. My sinuses are still congested. At this point I’m nearly positive I had/have Covid. It’s been drawn out and I never have this level of fatigue with a simple cold. The fatigue is familiar from when I had Covid last year. I should have tested. But I didn’t leave the house anyway and when I did I wore a mask so hopefully I didn’t spread it.

I had to cancel my NYE plans due to the fatigue but I’m happy about it, I didn’t really want to go to dinner 45 minutes away anyway. We were asleep by 10pm! CR came in at midnight to say happy new year. Maybe next year I’ll stay up.

I'm kind of tired today. I spent most of the day in bed. I drifted off for about 15-20 minutes around 12:50. There wasn't much to do anyways. I have therapy in the morning. Is it weird that when I think of her my mind goes to my transference T? Shes the cloest therapist I've had since my transference one despite there being no transference with this one. I don't know. Its kinda odd. I can go for blood work on Tuesday.

My throat keeps filling up with post nasal drip and I am constantly swallowing. I get night time colds all the time. So I'm sure this is one of them. I can probably get my omacron booster in a few days actually. It will be 3 months on the 11th.

I did but not well. I’ve slept most of the day which is nice because I’m in a pretty bad deficit.

Still one more day. I don't like this thing about the holidays being on a week-end, then there's even more holiday on Monday and sometimes on Friday, too. I call foul. By Tuesday the bureaucratic wagon will have lost a wheel and things will be chaotic, tempers will be short. A propitious start to the new year? Perhaps not. Next time will Xmas be on Monday? Better.

Sleeping most of new year's day is the best way to spend it, the healthiest way, I think. I'm a great believer in the immune system boosting powers of sleep.

I spent all day at IKEA I was there for over 8 hrs. Had a meltdown, 1 panic attack but made it through. I ate very little today and there was another conversation about me going back on meds. We fought over the length of the table and I was right when we got home
