I last posted here 6 weeks ago! Wow am I lax.

Nothing really going on except that I’ve been cat sitting N3’s cat for almost a month now. N3 has been on vacation with his girlfriend this whole time. The cat is friendly. She likes to sit and lay on me and she meows at me a lot- mostly to say hello! N3 is picking her up Monday when he gets back.

Meanwhile, I’m getting my own cat on Tuesday or maybe Wednesday! A student of my mom’s from 40 years ago has four cats one of which she “inherited” from her niece and she thinks that’s one too many cats so I’m adopting her. She’s giving me some litter and food to start off with and the cat’s favorite toy. She is scheduled to be spayed Friday morning. I hope the surgery on top of moving won’t be too hard on her.

I’ve been having vocal speech therapy about every 3 weeks. It’s going well but I don’t practice enough. I’m trying to get my singing voice back.

Tomorrow I see nurse-practitioner for a check up. I think everything has been going well. I know some of you have had a bad time weaning off of Klonopin but I feel it is a god send. I no longer have near constant racing anxious thoughts that plagued me for so long. It’s a huge relief. I didn’t realize how bad it was until it wasn’t there anymore.

I have also been having gynecological issues. After a year without periods, my doctor proclaimed me post-menopausal. However, three months ago I had some bleeding which I reported. Then about five weeks ago I had a period that lasted two days. Then three weeks later I had a full-blow heavy 3-day period. My gynecologist had just had me get a pelvic ultrasound to check to see if all is normal. It was. So was the uterine biopsy they did. So they want me to monitor the bleeding and come back in October. I’ve started charting my cycles online and so far my temps are all over the place. (I charted my temps and cervical mucus when trying to conceive back in the late 90’s/early 2000s. It worked- I have 3 kids.). But I have my tubes tied- I’m not looking to get pregnant just prove that I’m not in menopause yet.

Pnurse increased my Ingrezza for the movements that are still there and split my propranolol into an AM and PM dose rather than just at night. My case manager is going on maternity leave in August. I have an appointment with her next month. Not sure or the exact dates of her time off.
