I am cutting down on benzos. In benzo hell.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes! It was terrible. Total nightmare. Can remember your pain.

What benzo are you weaning off of? How are you doing it?

I've never tapered down from benzos. My NP has me on a script for 2mg Klonopin per day, but I generally just tale 1kg. Since I only take a half dose, I've built up a healthy war chest of them for a rainy day. Then, yesterday, my NP prescribed Temazapam to help with sleep. I don't thinl I'll have a problem weaning off them when the time comes, though.

A kilogram of pins? How do you do it? 🙃 (Obv a typo)

Benzo withdrawal is no joke though, from what I know. I had withdrawals from alcohol during my first mixed episode, to my knowledge they manifest similarly. I've said this in another thread but take it seriously if you're serious.

I used to relapse most often when I felt I could handle myself. Or things are "better". No, at least for me it is something I need to always be aware of. Slipping can happen so fast, building yourself back up takes way more time..

Temazepam initially helped me with sleep but very soon stopped working.
