How do you tell which is which?

Idk if I am manic like pdoc said or just BPDing hardcore because stress.

@MuddyBoots that is a good question which I am unfortunately unqualified to answer.

Not only do I not have the training to know, but even therapists say it is an art, not a science, to diagnose mental health issues. If you have a therapist they may be able to tell you.

Not asking for a diagnosis. Already dx’d with both. Just not sure if I’m hypomanic or just BPDing and my therapist doesn’t know me well enough to determine that yet.

Without accumulating a lot of temporal data, I do not think your T can start to be helpful in distinguishing between the two.
