I have an appointment with my psychiatrist in about 2 hours from now. Will update when I get back. Probably not much to update other than I’m hoping he’s okay with me stopping Thorazine. Since I’m relatively stable on the abilify and trileptal.

Nausea and cramps today...ugh. Periods suck.
I have to take one of our cats to the vet today for her annual exam and shots. It is never fun putting a cat into the carrier. Might go to the library in the afternoon since I'm almost done with my library books. Still doing well mood-wise on on the Cymbalta. No sign of mania. Slept 9 hr. last night. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, anorexia, panic disorder, ADHD Seroquel, Cymbalta, propanolol, buspirone, Trazodone, gabapentin, lamotrigine, hydroxyzine, There's a crack in everything. I have an interview tomorrow at a clothing place. They called me today. I was surprised because it’s been awhile since I put my application in. Anyway I’m hoping to get it since that’s what I have experience in. Would be better than Taco Bell for sure. It’s still retail so it’ll still suck but it will be better than fast food for my mental health.
Also my psychiatrist increased the abilify to 30mg, is decreasing and stopping the Thorazine and eventually replacing the trileptal with lamictal __________________ “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Once I got the thing to work properly I had no issue. I got the sample taken over a couple hours ago. I then went to pick up my new Zofran. That **** is like magic. Its 8mg every 8 hours, and it disolves under my tounge. I haven't thrown up at all today and I've had a couple sodas. My stomach has been calm all day. Idk how long Prilosec is supposed to take to work but I took it at 10PM last night and I woke up at 6:30 feeling better. Also I'm not insanely hungry either. So I hope this is all a good sign that I'm heading in the right direction.
I just got a call from my pharmacy asking how I'm doing on my new med Propalanol. Ma'me I've been on that for almost 16 years. __________________ I'm Blue Last edited by Mountaindewed; Jun 12, 2024 at 12:57 PM.. |

Absolutely crazy day today. Drove into Raleigh and taught my class about "The Law of Attraction" at the government agency in the city that I work for, and then headed to my old rehab which has been totally renovated, and took in a meeting. Met with a lot of the new girls and saw some of my old friends. It prompted me to go since I just went to a funeral on Sunday for one of my friends that went to the rehab who passed away suddenly. She was so young, it was a loss that hit everyone hard, so I was compelled to go back and see everyone. Then met with my good friend for Frozen Yogurt while she professed to me how much she wanted a husband, lol. Then headed to Barnes and Nobles and met with my sponsor to discuss my 9th step amends. It was a very wonderful meeting with her, she has such positive insights. All in all, a crazy day!! I am pooped!!
I wish I still lived in Raleigh though, so much of my life has been there for so long and everyone I know is there. I know a lot of people in my town, but they are usually working or doing different things, and one of my friends just moved to another town so that was a big loss. Mood wise, I am really good. I am elated that I have such a full life compared to the way it used to be years ago. Waiting for my boyfriend to come home so we can watch some random series from the 90s I found on Ebay that I used to watch when I was younger. I hope he likes it. __________________ Tales of Love, Motivation, and An Interesting Journey - Please Subscribe to my Website on WordPress: Inspired Odyssey's Path to Wellness and Love Last edited by LadyShadow; Jun 12, 2024 at 07:17 PM.. |

I'm so excited. 🤗 My narrator is almost done with the audio version of my book. Yippie! I can't wait to hear the whole thing. And tomorrow night our old babysitter is hanging out with our daughter, so I get to have some alooooone time with my husband (whew. Getting hot in here 🥵 ). Going to try getting five hours of sleep tonight. Don't know if that will actually happen, but it's good to have goals!
Next week we're going on a mini vacation up to Lake Superior. Next week is not a good week. Next week is period week! Ugh. Daughter and I cycle at about the same time, so we're both either going to be menstruating or hard-core PMSing. Poor husband. Lol. Men! You're lucky you don't have to deal with this bullshyt!!! I'm PISSED Husband scheduled this trip during menstrual week. There are WHITE towels in hotel rooms. __________________ The darkest of nights is followed by the brightest of days. 😊 - anonymous The night belongs to you. 🌙- sleep token "I'm scared. I'm old. Had to run by the bank today, and I stopped at Starbucks to get a mocha frappucino. I am doing a lot better with not going to Starbucks so frequently. Lately, I'm down to once or twice a month down from multiple times a week. I have done a lot better with overspending lately. Now most of the purchases I make are groceries that get consumed that week or the next, and groceries are expensive enough.
Neurologist started me on Lyrica (or its generic anyway) to see if that will help with the peripheral neuropathy. Cymbalta helps the neuropathy some, but I really would like the tingling to go away or at least lessen. The numbness I can live with, but the tingling & pulling sensations in my feet are the worst especially when I'm trying to fall asleep. I hope I don't gain weight on it. Weight gain is listed as a possible side effect, and I find weight gain one of the hardest side effects to deal with since I have a past with an eating disorder. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, anorexia, panic disorder, ADHD Seroquel, Cymbalta, propanolol, buspirone, Trazodone, gabapentin, lamotrigine, hydroxyzine, There's a crack in everything.
