I’m currently coming out of a depression episode that’s lasted at least 2 years. I’m not clear out of the woods just yet but I’m getting there!
How did you come up with your username on msf / any meaning behind it? |

I wanted to change my username and created a thread to ask an opinion on the name I chose and someone created an account used that name and never posted again. So I chose my second favorite, Nammu who is a creation goddess. I love creation stories from ancient civilizations.

It makes me think of when my daughter was little and we used to watch Strawberry Shortcake together in the morning. Raspberry Torte was the dorkiest one out of the group of girls. The show is like technicolor happy land!
Same question. (Because once again I can't think of one. Sorry.) __________________ The darkest of nights is followed by the brightest of days. 😊 - anonymous The night belongs to you. 🌙- sleep token "I'm scared. I'm old. I want to go home!" 😁 - anonymous |

As in forums? Yeah. I was briefly on psychforums, and sometimes I'm in different mental health subreddits, but most of them have a different vibe than somewhere like this that I don't care for.

It would be a planet where no one suffers from mental health issues and there’s no crime just eutopia (sp?)

I'm pretty in control of them. Only thing that's an issue is sleeping and eating, and the sleeping is because it hasn't gotten winter quiet yet.

On our lot we have a lot of tulip poplars, walnut trees, sassafras.
(This came up on reddit the other day and not on a psych related subreddit): Have you been allowed to have your phone while IP? __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. Yes, when I was in a private hospital there was no restriction of my phone. When I was public no way was I allowed my phone.

On the rare occasion I've been just hypo and not mixed, yes. I've not necessarily been good at what I was doing but I did it anyway (think a horribly stencilled fish mailbox.....It was ugly!).

I’m proud of all 3 of my kids! I have a 24 year old, a 20 year old daughter and a 5 year old son.

Eh, I could take it or leave it. I used to get in to decorating and the making of cookies but since my back doesn’t like it I’ve stopped doing that. Oof one year I made 16 dozen Norwegian cookies, dipped in the deep fryer one by one. Now I buy cookies and go to my daughter’s for dinner.

December is generally a little stressful. It’s Christmas and on top of that it’s my son’s birthday and my daughter’s birthday. Yikes. It’s a lot of presents. From a financial perspective it’s a drain.

I have three ear piercings. I had a nose piercing, but I kept ripping it out in my sleep.

I play Candy Crush a lot. I know that most people were done with it about 5 years ago but it keeps my hands busy so I can focus on watching things to relax. I'm boring I guess

I bought an almost new car. A 2023 with less than 6000 miles on it. It’s the newest fancy car that I’ve ever had and I negotiated it by myself. I expect that this is the last car I’ll ever own. I expect to quit driving before needing a new car, in about 15 years or so. I’ll remember this for a long time.
