Is anyone on Depakote ER? I just had a upward adjustment on my dosage. I am now taking 1500 mgs. and tonight I am getting adomenal pain.

Hi. Yes I am on that- just upped to 1000 a week ago. What kind of abdominal pain? Is it on one side or the other? I'm no dr., but I know that they carefully monitor blood levels and other symptoms for possibly negative effects on your liver. I hope you've called your doctor, just in case.

I have 3 kids on 1500 mg of Depakote ER. They get regular blood levels checked. They have been on it so long I cant remember any stomach pains though. How long have you been on that dose? Depaokte ER
