I felt like I have a fever and my head was just feeling hot constantly and my whole body ached. So it’s not perimenopause symptoms . I had a phone appointment for tomorrow but called the nurse line back when I got home and told her I am feeling worse than earlier when I called. Now that I’m laying down I don’t feel as bad. Activity made it much worse. I could still sing just fine. I can breathe ok. My tongue still hurts. Could be the inhaled steroids increase recently. Thrush can show up as sores without the white patches. Worst case scenario it is just some random virus. The nurse said there’s a lot going around now. I have felt under the weather for a week now but it’s much worse tonight.

Thanks! Sleeping a lot. Went to the dr because I was feeling totally crappy and worse and the dr- not my regular one- just said “your doctor told you it’s just a virus. You can leave now”! I came home and sleptvfor four or five hours. It’s just body aches and exhaustion. No other symptoms. I have a week before my biopsy so I should be ok by then I think.

Slept in. Felt better so I went out for lunch. Whole body ached again so I finished lunch and went straight back to bed. I only got up at 1 and it’s 3 now.

Managed to stay awake instead of nap, following along with one of the pieces we are doing in choir.

Yes, I felt that way a few weeks ago. But when the physical symptoms abated, I had mental fatigue, and felt that sense of utter hopelessness come back.

Hope you feel much better very soon and don't have the lingering mental fatigue!
