Any advice out there for us college kids? I find that near the middle of the quarter I start feeling pretty overloaded, and then I end up with a manic episode on top of all the stuff I need to do. How do I find a good balance? I make a really huge effort to get enough sleep every night, and that helps. Anything else I could try? It's so hard when time is limited.

Hey. Here are a couple of things that helped me
1) Try and make a schedule each day of the school-related items you need to do. Prioritize by what needs to get done first. 2) Don't leave things to the last minute. Start early so you don't get overwhelmed. 3) Get enough sleep and eat healthy. 4) Get some fresh air everyday. 5) Study with a group. Make games or some fun activity that helps you learn the material in a creative way. 6) If things get too overwhelming, talk to the profs. Some are understanding and willing to help. The most important thing: Don't be hard on yourself! ![]() |

Thanks! Right now I'm working on the procrastinating thing. I actually finished an assignment that's not due till Wednesday, woot! Still making sure I get lots of sleep every night, and I'll be getting myself to a doctor in the next couple weeks to discuss meds.
I really appreciate all this advice. It all seems like common sense, but it's so nice to have the reminder!!
