Hey all,

After ten years of suffering with bipolar and dealing with on again off again medications (due to drug addiction and insurance problems), I have finally been put on some new medication. And I tell you what, I am completely sedated. I was put on

Abilify 10mg
Effexor 37.5 mg
Klonopin 1mg

and I can barely hold my head up at the dinner table. I go back the first week in aug for a med check and update, and I am continuing to see a therapist once a week on mondays. But I am terribly tired, and when i see my therapist this coming monday I am going to ask her opinion of if I should try to get in to see my Psychiatrist sooner.

I just wanted to let the community know that I'm finally about to take a step in the right direction! Thanks for your support, leave comments if you please.

Hi faultypen,

I'm so glad you were able to receive treatment for your bipolar. I'd suggest to put a call into your Pdoc. Let him/her know how extremely tired you are, and perhaps they can help you sooner than your next appointment.

Good luck and keep us updated!

Take care,
Dee
