I haven't slept much at all in the past 2 weeks or so. Just wanted to say I finally crashed last night. I couldn't keep my eyes open around 9pm and passed out. I slept all night and woke up at 10am. I've had no energy all day but it's starting to pick back up in the past hour. Other than this happening I'm still like the Abilify.

Do you think the abilify was making you manic?
Is that what your pdoc thinks?

I haven't had so much energy on a constant basis and without being depressed since I started on the Abilify. I'm enjoying it and no irrability. I'monly on 5mgs and just started it almost 3 weeks ago.

may I ask why you were started on the abilify?
5mgs doesn't really sound like a therapuetic dose...has insomnia been a problem for you before?

I was on put on Lamictal almost a year and a half ago when I was dx'd with BP. It stopped working and my pdoc put me on the Abilify for the irritability and took me off the Lamictal. Abilify is the only thing I'm on right now. I go back to him in a week and a half.

I forgot to add that the lamictal can be increased up to 400mgs from what I have heard others...did your pdoc try increasing the dose? or did you say it was making you irritable?
just curious
