Hey everyone,
I'm pretty new to the site. I have BP1 and I'm just starting treatment. Problem is I don't trust anyone, family, counsler anyone. They all say I just need to grow up. Most of us with Bipolar have said angry things during an epsiode. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? |

Welcome.
I have a local peer support group that meets about once a week. Do you think you can find one in your area? Try DBSA (Depression Bipolar Support Alliance). They have support groups in lots of areas. Good luck! ![]()

Welcome to PC. I have/had (it comes and goes) a problem with paranoia and I believe at times that people hate me, are judging me, and that I cannot trust anyone. I know that even at those times when I am most skeptical I can come here because I'm among others who have first hand experience with bipolar. Basically I find that those who have bipolar are easiest to trust with bipolar issues. It is a those in glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks and if you judge me you judge yourself type of thing. If it is paranoia that you are experiencing though you may not even be able to trust at any level. I found that my meds help reduce the paranoia greatly although it still hits me sometimes. *Sigh* Why won't it just go away?
