As you can see by my mood thingie, I'm SOOOO tired! Its been 3 weeks now on Risperdol so can that still be why I'm dog tired? I got up this morning just fine and then by 10 or 10:30 I crashed asleep again. Slept until 2 ish. My sleep schedule isn't off, though. I'd been taking Trazadone over the weekend to try to make me go to sleep at a normal time. I thought it had to do with that. Didn't take any last night or tonight and still the same thing. So must be the Risperdol. When I get tired like this, its like I just HAVE to sleep. My arms feel like they weigh 5 lbs per arm (on top of what they normally feel like) and I just lay down and I'm out! My heart seems to go faster sometimes, too. This is what it was like to be pregnant around 2 months and also later on- that dreaded pregnancy tirdness. So any guys out there who know what I'm talking about with the drug side effects, have mercy on any future women you have babies with. Just wanted to vent.... Zzzzzzz.........

My psychiatrist once gave me Risperdal specifically as a sleep aid, so yeah, seems like that is a possible culprit...

I have been really tired like that lately...not taking Risperdal now, but am taking several other meds. Guess it will take some trial and error with the psychiatrist to see if it is a med, or a bad wave of depression, or what...

you need to cut down all sugary and caffiene stuff. Try High interval training excercise on your treadmill or bike on an empty stomach for a couple of weeks. You will notice that you sleep well at night and feel freshed through out the day. Give it a try!
