I have been depressed ever since we turned the clocks back this weekend. I have been sleeping too much and I do not have any desire to do anything. I've been put on Welbutrin (along with my other meds) months ago for depression and it helped for a while. Now I'm depressed again and I can't bear to do what I'm required to as a wife and mother. I'm trying my best.
I get no sympathy from my husband. He gets upset that I lay around too much and he has no one to talk to.
I get angry when I'm depressed, too. I take things out on my 8 year old stepdaughter which is bad.
To help with my mood swings, by the advise of my pdoc and therapist, I have quit drinking now for 5 months. I've been doing well, but here I am depressed, so what's the point?
In fact, I have to get ready now for my meeting for Alcohol and Drug addictions. I don't feel like showering and puting on make up and stuff.
Now the dog's barking for my attention, UGH!!

Just wanted to ramble. Anyone else feel down since it's getting darker out early?
It seems like I get up and then it's already time for bed.

I could have written your post. ...For me the days feel tooooo long! I just want the day to be over around 7:00. I stare at the clock and time passes so slowly. DH goes to work in the dark and comes home in the dark. I believe the change affects him as well.
