Just not sleepy. After two days of depression and not being able to keep my eyes open past 9 p.m. I'm watching a crazy show about freak accidents. Should I take trazadone which I haven't in months and months and months and risk sleeping way in?? (It adds the sleep to the OTHER side and crazy dreams.)

Hey Moose, I hope you finally got some sleep. I woke up at 3:30 so I've been up ever since....heavy sigh!

I have a really bad cold and taking cold medicine on top of my meds...is definitely not a good thing!

My eldest's friend is over to spend the night. I went to the eye dr. to check on my new kind of contacts I got 3 weeks ago. They're doing well. I ordered a year's worth- got me a box free. I do that- then I don't have to worry about running out of things. Old habbit from when I was married. *Shrug*

Nice day out here. I finally DID get to sleep after I took an Ativan and shut off the tv. I slept SOLID until 1 p.m.! I didn't wake up to pee or wake up and then say "Nah..." or anything. I was THAT tired. That also means I missed a whole day of school. Grumble grumble....

Hey Moose, happy to hear that you got some sleep. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and take care of yourself...obviosly you needed the rest.

Take care...

So happy you were finally able to get some shut-eye. I know my Seroquel or Klonopin will knock me to the ground if I'm not able to rest.

I took some zyrtek for the itchies issue again and my BF says I slept for a couple hours. So now I guess I might be too awake for sleep soon. But about 9:30 I was so sleepy. BF had taken some too and couldn't keep his eyes open at all.

I am having the same problems off not being able to sleep, you know the feeling, like you might just jump out of your own pants! LOL! Don't you just love the quality programming at 2, 3 in the morning???
I had been using Ativan to sleep, but my pdoc told me it is not a good choice because it doesn't stay in your system long. He offered Ambien, but I don't want to be taking ONE MORE PRECSRIBED PILL!!!!!
I am considering trying Benadryl tonight to sleep. It's driving me CRAZY! I hate it when my mind won't stop!

Actually, I have cable, so I get Science Channel which replays their evening shows into the night so when I'm up, I can watch cool stuff.

I swear, the insomnia is not healthy and gets in the way of things I have to do the next day sometimes, but I almost enjoy being up, either here on the forum, watching tv. or etc.
