I've been feeling like I'm sinking in school. Part extreme tiredness, part new scripts messing with my brain- or both. I finally came up with the conclusion, after talking with several friends and my dad that I took on too much at once- the classes were hard ALONE nevermind all together.
So yesterday, thinking it over, going rationally from building to building, making SURE I wasn't manic or depressed, I withdrew completely from classes. This way, I can retake them, not get bad grades OR have them be average with the grades I get when I DO retake them. I will get "W" grades and my GPA will NOT change. Otherwise, I felt like I was headed for E's in all classes- especially since you cannot withdraw forever. I felt really guilty about this, until I realized that I've been taking on a lot with bipolar and my brain really is just letting things roll off of it as if it were covered in a rubber tarp. When I have decided which class I want in the Winter term, I will sign up for it asap. Today I spent the day with my kids and made some funny captions at that site "I can has cheezburger". |

![]() ![]() Sounds like you are doing good self-care. Have a break and concentrate on you and then back to it at a later date.
