The best I can suggest is to see a psychiatrist and let him/her give you a diagnosis. Understand though that bp is sometimes hard to diagnose so be patient. make sure you tell everything about what goes on in your life.
If you are bp, then doing the things that will help you are important. Meds, therapy, support...all required for our mental health.

best wishes to you, give an update when you can.

have you been assessed by a pdoc? once you are given a diagnosis perhaps then you can feel better. labels are everything but pdocs can be so helpful with explaining what's going on.
you mentioned shoppiing for things you don't need. i'm bipolar and used to do that all the time. now i'm on meds and i don't have that symptom half as much.
keep posting, we care for you and do understand.
