But I just have to keep telling myself its for the best. I so desperately want to get better. I know my symptoms are getting worse especially since I broke up with my boyfriend, but thats a whole different post in itself lol. Well I just wanted to share that with you all. Also sorry I havent been posting much. I am here always I just go blank when I want to reply to others, so please know that I am thinking of you all and I do care much love to you all

Thank you... dont worry too much... u will only stress urself out... I knw ur nervous.... if u see someone there u knw... chances are they may be there for da same reason as u... there is no shame in admitting that u have problems... we all do in varying degrees... whts important is that u are taking the steps to help u emancipate urself... and thats what matters and counts..... Much love to u too

Rachie, that's brilliant!!
I love when you said "I so desperately want to get better" ... this to me says that you WILL get better. You need to have drive and ambition to be well, and you have that. I have faith that you will put in all the work required to get better.
You're very brave to take this step. I hope it works well for you x

Rachie,

I'm so happy to hear that you are going to be starting DBT. My DBT experience has gone pretty darn well. I've allowed myself to open up deeply a few times, and have not regretted it. Other group members have been supportive and kind throughout. A couple of members have come and gone, but that hasn't affected the core group. I guess we've all "clicked".

Hope that your DBT experience goes great Rachie! Take care

So had my first session, was nervous to start of with but others were more nervous than me so that made me feel better knowing I wasn't the only one lol. Theres 9 people in the group, was hoping there would be males there aswell but there isnt. It felt awkward at first because I dont usually mesh well with females thats why I was hoping there were some males. But it went well. No one is judgemental and they are understanding so thats great! Even had conversations with a couple of ladies at break time. Its such a relief to meet people that are going through the same sort of problems! I had a bit of trouble concentrating in one of the mindfulness tasks we tried, the joys of my adhd lol forgot how hard it was to focus at those sort of tasks, but the teacher was understanding and helped me out. Well I think thats all i've got to tell. Feel free to ask me anything or give me some tips
