Stay close. She will need a friend. We all know it doesn't go away in 2 weeks. She may be lying to herself and to you. Be patient and friendly, but don't let her pull you down.

Aw, she must be going through a lot. She has probably shut down emotionally or something.. something like denial. I guess sometimes we don't want to face up to the fact we're very ill.
You sound like a good friend, I hope you didn't take offence to her harsh words, I think it's just the illness talking, her wanting to make believe she's ok. |

I would stand by her. Let her know you are there and just be there for her. Sounds like she is denying what really is her issue or that no one else can feel like her. I had that issue when I was for diagnosed BPD. I didn't think anyone else knew how I felt.
Be safe and take care of you also. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
