Hi, Christine--not a very good experience! I"m sorry...Can you talk to their boss again? Maybe via phone call--so that the boss can get right to them? It sounds like you're working with an agency. Is that so? The wheels get stuck often...you have to be squeakier than they are sometimes.

Do you have a prescribing physician or a psychiatrist? Can you get in for help with the depression? Sometimes meds help until you can get other means of help or energy--like exercise (no kidding--big conclusive evidence on that for fighting depression)

It took a long time for me to get into a group--for there to be an opening, and a therapist fired me and I fired a psychiatrist in the process. In time, within about the time frame you're talking about, treatment began to shape up--largely due to the influence of my new psychiatrist. Rule of thumb for meds is a psychiatrist, not a GP or a nurse practitioner--especially if you are looking at disability issues.

I wish I'd known about PsychCentral when I was struggling with the diagnosis. This forum helps me so much, even now.
