Just a silly thought. I did the BPD test and found that I "have" it.
What is so amusing is that since I've finished a DBT program I somewhere in my mind thought I was Cured. How very silly of me.
DBT teaches skills to help live a better life while having BPD.

I dont know if BPD can be 'cured'.
Isn't it a personality disorder something that is inheirited, an innate part of who you are?
Managed maybe but cured, dunno.
Unless anyone out there knows different?

I think that some symptoms will remain jean

But you're so right - DBT can teach skills needed to help us live a better life with bpd symptoms hopefully being minimised so we can continue with our day to day activities.

I think that last part is very true. I think that, even when I'm not outwardly displaying signs/symptoms/behaviors of BPD and even leaning toward more healthy behaviors, I've taken these tests and shown a proclivity toward BPD traits. I don't feel like I've grown/healed any less for it.
