They subdue your passion but help you to live a more controlled life. They are necessary but they steal some of your creativity.

Without them you sink.
With them you tread water.

Have you ever been angry that you had to take them?

Get a pill box with the day's of the week on it with AM & PM sections. You'll feel like a 90 year old but it works.

I HATE having to take meds. I am worried because my pdoc is switching me from Seroquel to Abilify. I start tapering the Seroquel today. I am very nervous about what that is going to do to my moods....not that they were that good while I was on the Seroquel.

I hate taking meds too - which is probably why I forget....

I do have a reminder set into my phone but I mostly ignore that

I get tired filling those little pill boxes, but without that pill box, I would be lost. It also helps me know if I have missed any days. When I am hypomanic or manic I forget to take my meds and after I come down from either episode I see how many days I went without.

I don't like to take my meds either. I think I do better when I'm off meds. I guess this is why I sometimes makes excusses on why I shouldn't and sometimes don't take them.

Meds are scary for me too. But I would be a really bad mom without them. Though...my urge to do anything is gone, and my creativity is gone. I get very confused about my moods on them, but I'm not angry all the time. I still feel overwhelmed though.

OK...
1. You have no interest in anything
2. You have no feelings of creativity
3. You feel overwhelmed

I'm guessing those pretty little pills may not be such a bad idea for you at this time.
