Agree with this one! I recently had this and lost it. I'm pretty distraught over it, and no idea when/if I'll have a connection like this again with someone.

Yes, reasons to stay inside Nothing better than a rainy day. No snow here, but when I lived where there was snow, I loved it. Snow is soft and quiet and bright and sometimes sparkly.

Sometimes a drive in the country makes me happy. (Not in this ugly state, but where I lived before)

Quiet and calm makes me happy.

Sitting and talking with my therapist (ususally) makes me happy.

My cat having an unusual desire for cuddling makes me happy.

Imagining that I had someone to share my life with, to be at home or to go places with, makes me happy.

My sister or son visiting makes me happy.

The 1st thing that came to my mind was "I dont know what makes me happy". The 2nd was "nothing makes me happy". But then I read "having a special connection with someone and feeling as though someone understands and cares" and I totally agree - it makes me happy.
Thanks for this!

I agree, connections with people that feel good are the best. Also yummy food and being in places I enjoy. I guess we humans like many of the same fundamental things.

When I'm in my whirlwind of BPD, NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING makes me happy!!!

Sorry to be on such a downer but what I say. .. what I relate is real. .. . I HATE the fact that being real and being Happy is connected to being REAL. What's that? I know it isn't what is protrayed on T.V. ... it's what loving and real families make happen .. . who is making that happen?
Thanks for this!

What makes me happy?

Besides my loved ones (when they're happy)...

I've experienced rare moments of clarity...where I've felt centered and whole...

that's when I'm the happiest...I've noticed.
