Okay...so here's my deal right now. LOL

I finished my therapy...I can think straight for the most part. There can still be darkness LOL

So...my husband is about to do some very important things for his company and without reveling who I am...I can't say much more than that. He is going to be gone for about three months. He has been gone on and off almost every week for two years now.

After being gone and coming back I realize that it is my fear of abandonment BPD clashing with my bipolar. My mood is directly linked now to whether he is home or not. So I realized this yesterday, and told him, because I was about to cry, and was shaking due to my anxiety. I explained everything to him, and we are now going to get a mother's helper...which makes me feel so incompetent...we have had nannies in the past whom I adore...but have made me feel the same way and I've gotten sicker.

Don't know why I'm talking about this...but this is "my deal."

You're not incompetent. Trust me My mom helps out ALOT with my daughter, and it has nothing to do with any dx. I hope I can afford something like that if I should lose my mom, cos simply put, i'm just not qualified...

I can understand how your husband's absence can put you in a tailspin, but remember that you 'got this'.

You can handle it, take comfort in the FACT that he IS coming back.

Maybe now that you've identified a trigger, you can soften the blow with some soothing/relaxation techniques.

I'm cheering for you!
