Does anyone go through intrusive thoughts? Thoughts were you can't believe your thinking? Horrid s+xual thoughts? Killing thoughts? Murderous? Things you would never see your self doing but they are in your head?
What about dreams? I've had some horrid dreams and I know that this is a side effect to paxil but stilll upsets me!!!

I think we all have bad thoughts from time to time. I just don't act on them. I couldn't take paxil because of the dreams would wake me out of a dead sleep. I found them very vivid and very hard to go back to sleep after having one. Paxtil may not be right for you. You should let your doc know you are having a hard time with paxil and may need to change to something different.Keep us posted!

Agree with above... I think we all have intrusive and at times disturbing thoughts.

I was on paxil before, but I don't recall any kind of dreams. I didn't care for the sexual side effects, although some of them may be perceived as good others not so good. Sexual side effects seem to be common with paxil.. It would've been a great med if not for that..

There's only one way to answer that and that's to be blunt...No I never lost the urge for sex... It gave a really hard intense erection (good for the woman I imagine,)..It could also be painful at times... The bad..having an orgasm was near impossible so that part was almost enough to drive me insane.. I also knew a girl (not a gf), and she had problems having orgasms too.. She said she stopped it immediately.. lol

with all this sex talk.. I feel like my next question to you should be "Hey baby, whatcha wearing? "

Intrusive thoughts suck for me too. Geodon helps me. If I don't take that....I'll think about really terrible things, and terrible things about other people.

Intrusive thoughts come out of nowhere. Strolling through the grocery store and out of the blue comes some pretty screwed up stuff. It is alarming sometimes, but I do push the thoughts away.

And drugs that cause sexual dysfunction of any kind are not help. If you can't feel good about anything else, at least there is sex. Taking that away isn't acceptable.
