I was rude to a friend of mine a few days ago. Yesterday I wrote him an email apologizing saying that I was ashamed and It was okay for him to hate me cuz I hate myself too. Today he replied and said that he does not hate me.
WHAT?! I was here dying and it was nothing to him!!! He didn’t even bother to hate me!!!
I don’t know why but somehow it hurts me.

You have to remember that everyone doesn't feel things as intensely as you. That and he is a man...he probably figured you just needed some time to blow off some steam, as do most men need. Don't take it personally that it didn't bother him enough to hate you. He could just be playing it cool too. There are different reasons for everything and until you hear it from his mouth you can sit here and think until your brain is mush about all the possibilities and all the different ways you would do things. Take the "I don't hate you" at face value, it sounds like it was his peace offering to me.
Thanks for this!

I don't think he couldn't be bothered to hate you he simply didn't feel as strongly as you did about the situation. He probably knows you well enough to know that you needed some space and didn't mean whatever it was you did. Try and see how this episode worked out as a positive thing - you didn't loose a friend and can hopefully pick up where you let off with this guy. Good luck.
Thanks for this!
