Hi. I've had BPD now ever since I remember, probably when I was about 13, but finally got diagnosed in January 2011. I'm on the waiting list for DBT. I'm 21.

BPD affects my life a lot. It affects my work and everything, so I don't have a job and I'm on disability.
I'm friendless - literally. I am so alone and I don't think I can take it anymore. I don't have a partner either.
My family hate me and keep telling me to move out but I wouldn't be able to look after myself on my own.

I don't know what else to write here. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Welcome to psychcentral.

Ha you got diganosed the exact same time as me I however can't get referred for treatment

Everything else you've said is pretty much the same for me too - we could be the same person posting. Ultra spooky.

And oh my gosh, ive just re-read your post and we're the same age as well...this is getting weird lol

I hope you find your stay here useful, PM me anytime you wanna chat. Good luck

Transitions are terrible to go through so I hope you can start to feel like your family does love you and wants you there or with the help of a professional they can help you jump out of the nest. I know living in rocky territory, not knowing if you are welcome or not or feeling unwelcome, caused me such turmoil that I was full-blown bpd to the nines. Try to get your living situation to be more calm and you may feel a little better in your own skin at this time. Welcome to the group Jenn
