What would you think if you received a summery letter from PDoc saying:

"As you probably know, early attachment problems are often linked with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder"

Obversely there was more to this letter but this part was under the heading of diagnosis. Would you think this Is this a diagnosis or not a diagnosis? your guess is as good as mine but I disagree if it is a diagnosis.

(i'm not asking for anybody to diagnose me just in case it comes across this way )

We don't know what the rest of the letter was to determine if he/she wrote this as a diagnosis or not.
We need to see the whole context.

According to the quick glance I took at a few internet sources, this is the same as BPD. Just a different name under a different diagnostic classification system from what I could tell.

I understand where you are coming from Girl Interrupted. I can't give any more information than that because that is all it says on the matter regarding this PD. Basically it states diagnosis that I am already aware of then it just say that. Thank you anyway.

Farmergirl, thank you that is helpful.

Yeah basically EUPD is the European name for BPD, obviously I know I can't read the rest of the letter, but yeah, if it says "Diagnosis - " and then whatever it is, that's what you've been diagnosed with.
